"Smoothie" is an all-around gentle ranch gelding by Smooth As a Cat (earnings of $500,037; offspring earnings of $37 Million) and out of a mare that Kelsey competed on for years —CD Royal Chica. She was very cowy, a great ranch rodeo horse and a RHAA World Champion. Smoothie is gentle for the whole family to use. Buddy has used him extensively on the ranch. He can do it all — drag calves, doctor yearlings, sort, gather rough country. He’s been to town and seen the sights. We’ve used him on the cattle crew in Fort Worth for large NRCHA events. Smoothie has been shown at a few ranch horse shows and he has a nice spin, lead change, and can stop hard. He's also a great breakaway prospect as his natural style will finish a run quick.
